Calvary Chapel has established itself as a community of believers committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. At its core, the fellowship aspires to deepen the understanding of Christ and aims to be transformed into His image through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

The ministry holds a firm belief in the Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of God, recognizing it as the sole authoritative scripture in its original writings.

It upholds the doctrine of one God, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The deity of Jesus Christ is central to its beliefs, including His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous works, vicarious death and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and eventual personal return in power and glory.

Calvary Chapel asserts that every lost and sinful individual requires salvation, which is exclusively available through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. The present ministry of the Holy Spirit is also acknowledged; it is through this indwelling that believers are empowered to lead a life pleasing to God.
